Open Question: How can I overcome my fear of roller coasters?

I'm 13 now, and I just absolutely hate that feeling in my stomach which you get when you go on rollercoasters. It was a school trip to Alton Towers last Thursday and my friends managed to drag me onto Spinball Whizzer and when I got off it I was shaking and practically collapsed - and Spinball Whizzer isn't even classed as a thrill ride! It's just a ride which is supposed to be a bit of fun. And this summer we're going to Portaventura for our holiday and there is a theme park there. I looked at this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjVS1k18pp8) and it's a little kids ride, and in my opinion it looked absolutely terrifying! Look at the video of the ride - you'll think i'm a completely stupid for thinking that looks scary at my age! And in the Portaventura theme park they have massive rides like - Dragon Khan (It has 8 loops in total! It looks massive!) - Furious Baco (83.9mph!!) - Hurakan Condor (Drop tower ride. Goes up to 71.4mph!) - Stampida (46mph. Might not sound too fast but it does look insanel fast on videos). I want to try them but I think Tami-Tami looks scary then I seriously don't think i'll survive on them rides! Could anyone help me here? My dad wants me to go on them big ones with him when we get there, but I just don't know if I can. And it was very embarrasing in Alton Towers when I was terrified on Spinball Whizzer yet my friends were going on Oblivion, Nemesis, Rita and Air!  more

Open Question: Question for Male/Female nurses on a Urethra Catheter?

I am going to have to have surgery soon and it will take about 3 to 4 hours. I know for a fact a catheter will be used on me. I am scared to death! Open Question: why does filipina girls like mexican guys too much?

I'm filipino and the reason why I don't like filipino girls is because they don't even like their own kind, they like Mexicans that wouldn't respect their culture. Open Question: How to stop hurting myself?

I seem to be having troubles, a little more than I'mused too. Ever since I was littles streight to kindergarden, people from class would say things, bad things, about the way I dressed looked and even acted. It continues today. Just last month when school still was out, a bunch of kids trying to act tough said to me, why do you dress like a *******, others say when was the last time you showered, and I just had one got dressed and walked down the street heading to the store. I don't belive voilence is the way in life (video games and other media are differnt), today as I write this, a bunch of kids, 13 tried to pick a fight with me in youth drop-in type thing, in a church. Once again, they made fun of my shirt because it's pink, for almost an hour they stugled, to get me to fight by saying comments like that. A freind of mine wouldn't let me leave alone, I tried to turn down the offer of giving me a ride home. And now I just wan't to hurt my self. I started to cut my wrist about a few months ago when someone said stuff like that to me, but now I do it every time I do anything. I went fishing a few days ago, using minos as bait (apologize for incorrect spelling if it is wrong), then I got miseralbe because of the minos lives I was killing to fish for somthing that I was going to kill (eat), I cutt my sef for that. My teacher gave me bad marks for incorrect spelling. I had capitilized letters where there shoulden't be, somtimes letters would get rearranged and I do not know why, I lost 30% of a mark because of that, every time I do somthing I think of how that effects someone else. I'm also getting mad at simple things, like when the button of my remote get stuck, I start to scream at it and want to through it at the wall, even when I think of doing somthing bad I cut my self. Last night I cutt myself and started to shake (still am) and get light headed. My parents say I a drama qeen (I a guy though, so queen isn't exactly correct), but they do not know. Somedays I have the feeling I want to die, get hit by a car or jump from a building or somthing like that. Yet I know somone is getting it worse than me and I feel studip for doing and thinking stuff like that, am I selfish, I try to give but things seem to be wanting to be taken. What do I do? I am afraid this will go too far. I am the only one that knows this, except my boss is getting suspious. I am sorry for all the writing (it would be reading to you but yeah). You see, I'm 16, my family cannot aford for me to see a psych, or a doctor of that type. My mom has a freind who is a psych, but I know her personally since I see her as a freind every week. I don't want to tell anyone. I tried it once and somehow, everyone in my school found out. How should this problem be resolved? I cant sleep any more, and all I want to do is hurt myself.  more

Open Question: How to prepare my 3 year old for tomorrow's fireworks?

My three year old, MJ (nickname), is the absolutely normal 3 year old. He's scared of the dark, scary images and all of the normal things that younger children are usually scared of. But, usually MJ's the sweet, outgoing toddler in the group. The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays, especially because of the fireworks, and this is MJ's first 4th of July where we are going out and watching the Fireworks. I'm just wondering about how I can prepare him? I was just recently on YouTube (this was literally not even 20 minutes ago) and was showing him a fireworks display that someone else video taped, and he did what he always does when he is scared of something. Eyes bulging out, skin goes pale and is absolutely silent, and then when the video was over he asked me to put it back on. Those are all of the signs that he's scared of something. I love Fourth of July and I want us all to be able to have fun, and I know that if he doesn't want to watch the Fireworks, then I'll have to send him mom with my mom because she doesn't like the fireworks either, and I know that in the end I won't enjoy anything because I'm too worried about MJ. I'm interested in getting back into shape and I thought pilates would be an interesting and fun way to loose weight. My goal is to loose maybe a few pounds, just excess fat around my stomach area and such and tone my body nicely. ive had my boyfriend 4 about 3 weeks now. he hasn't answered my txts in a week, and says he has 2 call me back whenever i called him. this is seriously getting on my nerves, and i already know of another guy that likes me. the only problem with leaving my current boyfriend, is that we have already told each other that we love on another, and i told him that i wanted him 2 be my first kiss. we r scheduled to be going to rock camp 2gether, and we r also going to be in the same band. i really do love him, but he won't answer me or talk to me even when i tell him that im thinking about breaking up with him. now im depressed all the time and cant seem to have any fun for more than 10 minutes per hour. even when im laughing with my friends, im thinking about him. my heart tells me not to leave him, but my head tells me to get out before HE dumps ME. i just love him soooo much, and i have talked on the phone with him for a half hour just crying because i was trying to debate whether i should be with him or the other guy that likes me. the whole time he was coaching me through my breathing, telling me to calm down, and saying beautiful things. he even said that he dreams about me... one of the problems is his psycho ex girlfriend who hates me and even made a mean video about me and my sister calling us retards. she said she was sorry, but i never thought 4 one sec to take it seriously. she will do anything to get him back. and i had my friend look on his facebook page, and his profile says that hes still going out with her. he was on his account today. i dont know what 2 do. im depressed, confused, and lonely. help me please. cristine is mean. i know what love is  more

I always compare her to my other friends because when ever I'm in a fight they either take my side or don't talk at all. I'm her only friend and I can see why but she makes fun of me and makes me doubt myself. Open Question: What the hell is the point of glitching in Cod world at war?

i play ps3 and ...In almost all game modes theres a glitcher..thank god they fixed it for the better in multiplayer..but in general what is the point of it..last time i checked video games are for fun..not for having good stats and showing off..especcially those guys at the top of the leader boards in kills..how the hell is it even possible to kill 16 000 people in a row..games end dont they? and in zombies its horrible also..i find guys who glitch horrible..honestly why the hell cant you play the game fairly and have honest leaderboards for real..ive gotten to 33 in verruct with strategy and 25 so far in shi no numa with strategy with two guys. The only glitch in all fairness i find fun and fair is the three gun glitch..give me some feed back.. and no 360 fan boys coming in and saying there are only glitchers on ps3 and not on 360.  more

ok im 13 years old and I need a lot of help have friends that are both social and not social my social friends go to public dances for preteens and teens also hang out with the girls at my school then i have friends who only love video games and hate girls and hate going to dances and vacation and other stuff. so the girls at school are friends of me but don't hang out much well almost never and when ever im with a guy who only likes video games and don't socialize then girls come and i like freaky out so i say hi but then be completely silent on top of that then my non social friends then yells at them like "U GUYS A SLUTS OR WHORES!" or some offensive term and i then run from there cause i know there going to judge me for his actions but at the same when i hang out with friends that r nice to girls and socialize they then decide to punch me cause im a really nice guy and i don't hit people for fun but they hit me and laugh and there nice to me but then hit so i start fighting back and there like don't overreact and stuff so i tell them to stop hurting me and they say" well y don't u say stop" and i did i yell to the top of my lungs to stop but im not loud enough so really the problem is i want to be a social guy but not get beat at the same time not be a fatty and play xbox all day but also don't want to hang with people that are disrespectfully to girls, but i also want to talk to girls in ease and be able to get noticed when i say hi to friends and they say nothing in return when there ecuse is you ain't loud enough when im sorta shouting hi! ok let me re-say it again i have two groups of friends non-social friends ( disrespectfully to girls, fattys, hate vacation, and social partys and only like xbox also dont answer me sometimes, and complain alot) and social friends ( nice to girls, some time are nice to me but they beat me up for fun, and won't answer me some times also insult me) there are friends with each other too but we do have fights. now my problem is i want to talk to girls with out friends to disrespect but also take there attention away from me but also i dont want to take peoples shit ( complain to me or beat me up) but also get noticed by people. and also i have a presonality that is umm complex im nice but i could easliy kill some one or blow there house up within so much time. i hope it more clear now. and im learning guitar too!!P.S. i will never kill some one or blow them up for a no reason only if they did some thing ver very very UBER BAD to meh lol  more

i am a 13 year old girl and my room is the smallest room i ever saw. i have seen walk-in closets bigger than my room. my brother has a room that is atleast 2 or 3 times bigger than mine. my parents gave it to himm because he was born first, and we cant switch. ofcourse you wouldnt want to give up a bigger bedroom for a smaler one, but he doesnt deserve it. my older brother is 15 and he calls my mom and I names like homo and gaybo, and he calls me a retard, and names that would effend anyone. he always makes fun of me for what isnt true. he even does it infront of m parents and they dont do anything about it because it doesnt work. if my mom yells at my brother, all he says is i'm not afraid of you or i dont have to listen to you. my brother gets evrything he wants just because he is the older child. he gets the bigger room while i get a closet. he gets the bigger tv and i get a smaller one. he gets all kinds of things that he doesnt deserve. he bullies me and beats me up. i have bruises and scars from him, but my parents dont care. i do all kinds of things for them and i help them out, but when its me and my brother, he is always first. when we previousy went o vacation, i had to ride in a seperate car just because i dont want to be around him. his attitude is toxic. he only thinks about him self and he is a spoiled brat! he is my older brother and he should protect me, ot be the one hurting me. we even have family videos from when we were toddlers. i would just stand there and he would come up to me, push me down, and sit on me. i cant wait til he goes to colledge and i will finally get the bigger room.it makes me so mad that i cant do anything about it. there is no room in m room to even move my bed around. so i have been the same way for as long as i had the room, which was ever since i was born. please help! any ideas on how to convince my parents to let me have the bigger room, or make my brother leave me alone and be nice.
